As an IB Candidate School*, we believe in nurturing well-rounded individuals who are not only academically proficient but also globally aware and socially responsible. Our curriculum is designed to foster these qualities in students aged 11 to 16.
At Euro School, we are proud to be an IB MYP Candidate school*, implementing the Middle Years Programme (MYP), a world-class framework designed to cultivate curious, knowledgeable, and caring learners who are prepared to thrive in an ever-evolving world.
The MYP is a comprehensive, inquiry-based programme for students aged 11 to16. It serves as a bridge between primary education and advanced studies, such as the IB Diploma Programme (DP), while fostering lifelong skills, global awareness, and a passion for learning. The MYP is organized around subject groups taught through interdisciplinary approaches, encouraging connections across disciplines and emphasizing the relevance of knowledge to real-world contexts.
At the heart of the MYP is the IB Learner Profile, which helps students develop into Inquirers, Knowledgeable individuals, Thinkers, Communicators, Principled people, Open-Minded learners, Caring individuals, Risk-Takers, Balanced personalities, and Reflective thinkers. These attributes guide students not only in their academic pursuits but also in their personal development, preparing them to be global citizens who contribute positively to society.
The MYP links classroom learning to the broader world through six Global Contexts, each offering a distinct perspective for students to explore their studies.

These contexts—identities and relationships, orientation in space and time, personal and cultural expression, scientific and technical innovation, globalization and sustainability, and fairness and development—help students deepen their understanding of their place in the world and broaden their global outlook. By engaging with these contexts, students critically examine concepts like identity, culture, fairness, sustainability, and technology, making their learning relevant to real-world challenges.
To enhance this experience, students explore Key Concepts such as Change, Systems, and Relationships, alongside Related Concepts specific to their subjects. This dual focus fosters a deeper understanding and strengthens their ability to make interdisciplinary connections. In addition, Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills—such as research, critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, collaboration, and self-management are embedded throughout the MYP, empowering students to become independent, self-directed learners ready to navigate the complexities of the 21st century.
The MYP also emphasizes community engagement. Through Service as Action, students participate in meaningful activities that build empathy, social responsibility, and reflect their creativity and passion.
At Euro School, we provide an environment that nurtures not only academic excellence but also emotional intelligence, ethical reasoning, and global awareness. Through interdisciplinary learning, students connect knowledge across subjects, enhancing their critical and creative thinking. With our highly trained faculty, who are skilled in delivering the MYP framework, we are committed to creating engaging and challenging learning experiences that prepare students for success in a rapidly changing world.
Euro School is committed to meeting the standards set by the Curriculum Development Center (CDC) Nepal. The MYP curriculum aligns with the CDC’s guidelines, ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education that prepares them for global academic and professional pursuits.
